Strategy Game of the Year Award

"Supreme Ruler: The Great War completely stood out from the pack by offering a deep strategic campaign, solid artificial intelligence opponents, and a historical realism that you just won't find anywhere else." - Taken from the award section on their website

Supreme Ruler the Great War won strategy game of the year for 2017 from Game Industry News (GiN). It beat out the likes of Total War: Warhammer 2 and Halo Wars 2. One of my major roles on the project was to document extensive research into World War One and maintain the historical accuracy within the game. Which in their award section of the game is cited as one of the main reasons we received the accolade. I also designed the 1917 start point which was the dominant game mode players chose. This start point contained over 300 historically accurate events and over 50 new combat units. All of which is another reason we won the award.
